Reselling Your Transplanter

One of the ways we have helped customers who have stopped using their transplanter is to help locate a buyer for their used transplanter and accessories. We are happy to help locate a buyer as we are often asked if we know of a source for used equipment. Please send us a note and we'll connect you with interested buyers if we can.

The fact that demand for used equipment outstrips supply is a testament to the performance and value of the paper chain pot transplanting system.

Replacement Parts

One of the great things about the paper chain pot transplanter is that it is so simple! In the 12 years we have been selling them, we’ve only replaced a couple parts. One was a result of a person buying a used transplanter and a part was missing. The other case was a replacement furrow-opener on one of the very first units we imported that saw extremely heavy use for over a decade.

Return Policy

If any products arrive to you damaged or with manufacturing defects, we will replace them.

You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a full refund, you must meet the following conditions:

  • Your item must be unused and in the same condition you received it. (Exceptions to this policy are possible; give us a call and we’ll work with you to ensure a satisfactory resolution.)
  • Your item must be in the original packaging.
  • Your item needs to have proof of purchase from Small Farm Works.

Refund Policy

Once we receive your item, we will notify you that we have received your returned item. We will then inspect the item and then notify you of the refund status. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment).

We have issued very few refunds in our 12 years of doing business because the product is well-made and most everyone is happy with how the system works!


You will be responsible for paying for the shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

If you receive a refund, the original cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.
